What is family therapy?
Family therapy enables family members to explore difficult thoughts and feelings safely and understand each other’s point of view. Family therapy can also be used as an opportunity to reflect on important relationships and create ways to move forward. This type of counselling can involve all members of a nuclear family, step family and extended family too. Any issues that are interfering with the family dynamic may be addressed.
Why choose us?
Square 1 Therapists will always strive to be inclusive and considerate of the needs of every family member. We believe that total recovery is possible as long as you are given the right tools and support. Our aim is to identify and build on individual strengths whilst developing the strengths of the family unit. Our therapists are sensitive to cultural and religious differences that may have an effect on the family dynamic and understand that every family is unique. We are committed to bringing families together one step at a time to improve communication, solve problems and create a healthier home environment. Depending on your specific concerns, you will be allocated with a specialist therapist to best suit your needs.
